Keep the game fair.

PureVanilla is anti-pay-to-win. Every perk is assessed for its effect on the game, including for players who never buy or earn a rank.

We don't rely on vote ranks to make a perk fair. Voting is an extra way to access certain perks, not a substitute for balancing them for players without any rank.

Depending on the perk, players can obtain it without paying through in-game trading with other users or other gameplay routes. Special permissions such as Booster are not inherently pay-to-win: what matters is what each permission actually does and how it affects other players.

Every displayed perk has a balance disclosure. Hover, tap, or focus its balance icon to read why it is balanced or how it can be obtained without paying. Check the specific perk; access routes and limits vary.

Questions from parents

A few things to know before approving a purchase.

Does my child need to buy a rank to play?

No. Playing on PureVanilla is free. Store purchases support the server and provide the perks listed on each product. Fairness includes players without a paid rank or a vote rank.

What should we check before buying?

Review the selected gamemode, Minecraft username, included perks, total price, and payment frequency together. Check whether the offer renews, and read the terms and refund policy before approving payment.

Will a purchase renew automatically?

Only Booster renews. It is currently our only subscription; every rank is a one-time, lifetime purchase that never charges again. If you just want one month of Booster, you can cancel right after buying: your perks stay active until the end of the month you paid for, and you won't be charged again. You can cancel from subscription management or the link in your receipt email.

How do perks stay fair for players who don't pay?

We assess what a perk actually changes in the game, its limits, and the ways players can access it. In-game trading with other players can provide a route without paying, and some permissions do not inherently create a competitive advantage. Vote ranks are an additional access route for certain perks, not our sole justification for balance.

Where can we read the explanation for a specific perk?

Open a product and look for the small balance-scale icon beside each perk. Hover over it, tap it, or select it with the keyboard to read its balance or access disclosure. Read each one individually; the explanation varies by perk.

Who can help with a purchase or subscription?

Start with subscription management to review billing or manage a subscription. For purchase questions, email [email protected] or contact the team through Discord. Share the receipt or order reference so we can identify the purchase.
